UGANDA CUP FINAL: FUFA sympathises with KCC FC following accident involving its players
FUFA has received news about KCC’s players who got involved in an accident as they traveled to Western Uganda for Saturday’s Uganda Cup final.
The accident happened at Nekongolero-about 30 kms to Mbarara Town.
According to a KCC FC Official David Tamale, two players Savio Kabugo, Joseph Ochaya, two other occupants David Obua who has been training with the team and a support staff at KCC FC Lumala Adrian were traveling in the Pick-up car that got involved in an accident.
‘It is not good news for our football. We are sympathetic with what has happened to KCC FC. Every team would want to have its best players available for a high profile match like the Uganda Cup final. We pray that they recover soon’ said FUFA President Eng.Moses Magogo
KCC are trying their best to bring back the players to Kampala for treatment but the rest of the squad that was in the club bus continued with the journey.

UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE: Match Day 21 Fixtures Next Week
The ever exciting Uganda Premier League (UPL) will return with 8 match day 21 fixtures.
Four of these will be played on Tuesday (17th March 2015) and the remaining game held on Friday (20th March 2015).
Vipers lead the 16 team log with 41 points, carrying a game in hand.
The side has played 17 games, a game less of the second placed SC Villa (on 40 points).
Reigning champions, KCC F.C have played 18 games and lie third with 38 points.
Coach Abduallah Mubiru’s KCC F.C host Jinja Side, Sadolin Paints at Lugogo.
The fixture will present a test of character for Sadolin Paints after extinguishing their three match win-less streak with a narrow 1-0 victory over Rwenshama F.C on Friday in Jinja.
Can Colly Blaise, Fred Sejjugo, Peter Katumba, goal keeper Didi Muhammed and company pull off a surprise result for Sadolin Paints at Lugogo?
Unbeaten Vipers host Lweza at Buikwe in a highly billed encounter as Rwenshama who suffered that loss in Jinja on Friday play host to Kira Young F.C.
Lweza F.C was held at home to a 1 all draw by Soana and will be looking forward staging a formidable fight in Buikwe.
Vipers last game was the 1-2 away victory over Kira Young at Namboole stadium last week.
Meanwhile, relegation candidates Soana and Entebbe will be battling for crucial points at Kavumba recreational stadium.
The rest of the games shall be played on Friday.
